surfPix was formed to provide a place where surfers and photographers could be brought together online. How often do you have a great session at your local and there are people taking photos? For most of us it is pretty difficult to approach total strangers asking if they have any shots of us from the surf! We want to make it easier for surfers to check out photos of particular surfs they got to experience, as well as to view photos of various NZ & International spots
